The Red Lion Pub- Food review!
2nd attempt at trying to eat at this establishment. The first time we were allowed to enter the pub and approach the bar only to be told that it was a training evening!
The 2nd attempt involved securing a table number outside. Waiting at the bar for at least 10 mins whilst the bar staff (I use this term very loosley here) exhibited two speeds of slow and STOP. Only to be told that food would take at least 45 mins to arrive! This all on a Tuesday night at around 7pm!
At this juncture, in the great traditions of those News of the World reporters; we made our excuses and left without any of said refreshments vowing never to return!!
So this reviewers advice- forget this pub/restaurant if you value any element of your free time and evenings!
