The March Floods. Floods wreak havoc in a decidedly wet Startford-Upon-Avon. The river had burst its banks and Cox's yard was in danger of being engulfed.
April Day. During a surprisingly warm April things are beginning to look so much more like the summertime Stratford we all know and love. Looks like Anne Hathaway's Cottage is receiving some TLC prior to the summer rushes.
Stratford-Upon-Avon July floods. Absolute carnage was wrought on much of the country on the 19th July 2007 when torrential downpours overwhelmed the flood defences of many areas leaving chaos and destruction. Below are some pics of Stratford-Upon-Avon the day after the worse of the floods but many are roads still blocked and buildings flooded. All this with more rainfall forecasted to be on the way.
